Well-Balanced (Self-Challenge Campaign)
Well-Balanced (SCC) is expected to open for registration in the third quarter. Final details will be announced when registration opens.
Well-Balanced (SCC) is an eight-week self-challenge campaign designed to help participants review their lifestyle and body status, and adopt safe, personalized habit improvements. The program is developed in collaboration with the Houston-Apollo Model telemedicine team of NTU Hospital, Yunlin Branch.

Give yourself time to reset and recharge
The core purpose of SCC program is to encourage healthier lifestyles and overall well-being. These activities are not competitions, and everyone’s health goals are different. Please choose safe and appropriate activities based on your own abilities and condition.
Program Duration
The program runs for eight weeks, organized into four two-week cycles.

Core Indicators
The campaign tracks two key health metrics:
Active calorie burn (minimum standard: 3500 kcal per cycle)
Body Mass Index (BMI) (healthy range: 18.5 ≤ BMI < 24)
A sedentary lifestyle is a risk factor for chronic disease; this campaign encourages consistent movement and tracking to support long-term health.

Indicator 1: Physical Activity Energy Expenditure
- Baseline Standard:
- Each participant is expected to achieve a minimum of 3,500 kcal per cycle, including calories burned from walking and exercise.
- Walking Calories:
- Calculated as total daily steps × system default value (0.05 kcal per step).
- Exercise Calories:
- Please use a wearable device or fitness app to record exercise activities and sync or import the relevant data.
- Reference Explanation:
- A baseline of 3,500 kcal per cycle is approximately equivalent to the calories burned by walking an average of 5,000 steps per day, excluding additional exercise.
- Team Target Standard:
- Team performance is calculated based on the average per-person result.
- The team standard is the same as the individual standard.

Indicator 2: Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Healthy Range: 18.5 ≤ BMI < 24 kg/m² (based on Health Promotion Administration standards)
- Participants with a BMI above 27 (verified by health check reports) may apply during the program period for:
- Free rental of an activity-support wearable device
- One online consultation session with a dietation or fitness trainer
Rewards & Incentives

The first 100 participants who engage in non-sedentary activities (e.g., walking, exercise) are eligible for up to TWD 500 subsidy with valid receipts. - BMI Support:
